That article brings to mind a common argument liberals use in regards to gay marriage. "What's so sacred about marriage, with half of them ending in divorce, rampant cheating, etcetera, etcetera?"
That's like saying, "We've shat on marriage so much, what's one more poop on the pile?" And if marriage is so meaningless to the liberal, what motivates them to strive for it so fervently. The main motivation is obviously money. From the first, it's been openly reported that it is all about the entitlements. Gay guy #1 isn't getting a cut of gay guy #2's health insurance.
That's just the explicit benefits liberals are seeking. There's also the mindless glee they derive from tearing others down. They work to undermine everything good and Christian in the world, and when they get called on it, they pretend that they were just minding their own business the whole time.
And that reminds me of a story I heard of Jesus' youth - possibly apocryphal, but I wouldn't bet the bank on it - where he was with a class of students sculpting river clay. Jesus had sculpted the likeness of a bird, then brought it to life. Another student, upon seeing this, proceeded to wreck the shit out of Jesus' supply of clay. Jesus, seeing the depths of wickedness in such an act, rebuked him so hard that he withered up and died.
Again, this is what comes of posting with no subject line, and no quote from the article or even the title of what you're trying to post. I had to scour through the raw HTML on this page to find what you were posting about.
Overall, a very thoroughly researched and thought-out article. Though very long.
Given the harsh stance it took on many issues, I was compelled to look for ways to discredit what it said - and it says a lot that I had little to no success.
I did notice one thing that irked me a little bit, though it's merely an association. It's endorsed by Dr. Helen of Instapundit. I was turned off to her long ago when she presented her arguments for polyamory (which, I might add, were ludicrous).
Really, it was a very well-written article that simply rubbed me the wrong way. That doesn't take much from its value, though.
